What a great field day it was....

Flag Day Program

Third graders were decked out in their Red, White, and Blue today for our Flag Day ceremony. They did an outstanding job playing their violins, recorders, and singing patriotic songs!

Mapping Program

The 3rd graders had a great treat the last two days when Mrs. Pietrantoni, otherwise known as The Map Lady, came to school. The kids were able to make their own maps of Burlington and include many of the great features of the town.

*Field Day is Thursday (rain date Friday).  Please have students wear their bathing suit and bring a towel and a change of clothes.  The weather is due to be warm and sunny, so please be sure to sunscreen your child before they come to school.  We will be outside for quite a while.

Pajama Day

Students filled their Compliment Jar in Class.  Tomorrow will be Pajama Day.  Students may wear appropriate pajamas to school.  They may bring slippers and a small stuffed animal, but need to wear regular shoes to school.

Third Grade Concert

We would like to invite you to the 3rd Grade Flag Day Assembly on Wednesday, June 10th at 9:45 in the cafetorium.  The assembly will consist of a recorder performance, a violin performance, and the whole grade singing 2 patriotic songs.  Students are encouraged to wear "Red, White, and Blue" and accessorize as they please.
